Immerse yourself in the comfort and charm of our living area. With vaulted ceilings adorned with majestic wooden beams, the space is a harmonious blend of rustic and modern design. The centerpiece, a luxurious power reclining sofa, invites you to unwind or indulge in the cinematic pleasure on the large smart TV. This room is not just a living space; it's where memories are made, laughter echoes, and relaxation is a given.

Adjacent to the living area lies the kitchen, fully stocked and ready for your culinary adventures. Equipped with modern appliances and surrounded by pristine white cabinetry and rich wood accents, it's a place where meals and moments are crafted with love. The wooden countertops whisper tales of family recipes and morning chats over coffee, promising a space where every meal feels like home.

SLUMBER IN STYLE: THE MASTER BEDROOM
Retreat to the master bedroom, where grandeur meets comfort. A stately king-sized bed awaits to envelop you in soft linens for a night of restful sleep. With rustic wooden furnishings and a vibrant chest at the foot of the bed, the room epitomizes style and serenity. Wake up to the peaceful views of nature, starting each day refreshed and inspired.
LOFTY DREAMS: THE UPSTAIRS LOFT
The loft, accessible via a charming staircase in the living area, is a realm of comfort and play. Two plush queen-sized memory foam beds beckon for a restful night, while a world of entertainment awaits on the Roku TV. A jumbo sized Connect Four game on the wall, board games, and cozy floor chairs offer endless fun under the angled ceiling, crafting a casual lounge atmosphere that's perfect for both children's laughter and adult downtime.
Wonderful memories are sure to be made amidst the natural splendor of our woodland retreat. Whether it's an evening spent sharing stories around the fire pit, a leisurely stroll through the trees along the Deerpath Trail, or the joy of outdoor games under the canopy of trees, each moment will contribute to an experience that we hope is as rejuvenating as it is memorable.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
- Loft Ceiling Height: The upstairs loft has a 5-foot ceiling, open to the living room. It offers a cozy and unique space for guests.
- Loft Safety & Access: Equipped with a childproof lock for safety. The stairway to the loft is narrow, at 19 inches wide, ensuring a quaint and secure ascent.
- Kitchen Appliances: The cabin includes a 20-inch wide apartment-size oven/stove.
- Entertainment: Equipped with smart TVs. Guests are welcome to use their own streaming services. DVD players and a collection of DVDs are also available for a classic movie experience.
- Internet Connectivity: Wi-Fi service, including tv streaming is usually good, but due to being in a rural area, the speeds may not be as fast as guests are used to. Wi-Fi is provided for convenience without refunds for service issues.

Things To Know
BOOKING RULES:
- Minimum age to book is 21.
- All reservation requests must include the total number of adults and the total number of children staying.
- Security Deposit in the amount of $125.00 will be held at the time of booking. Deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED within 3 days after checkout if property is left without damage.
- Guests who book a stay will need to upload a copy of ID to verify identity and confirm minimum age requirement. Guests are welcome to black out any information on the ID prior to sending except for name, address, and birth date. A standard vacation rental agreement will be sent after booking. Be sure to complete the signed rental agreement and submit ID within 48 hours after booking to avoid cancellation of the reservation. Guests who would prefer not to send a copy of ID or sign a separate vacation rental agreement have the option to book this property through Airbnb at https://airbnb.com/h/deerpathretreat . A copy of ID will still be required to be submitted to Airbnb. However, Airbnb does not share submitted IDs with individual property owners. Airbnb fees amount to an additional 12% added to the overall cost, when compared to booking directly through this site.
HOUSE RULES TO BE FOLLOWED DURING YOUR STAY:
- No more than 6 people on the property at any given time. (This includes guests plus visitors). No parties are allowed. There will be a $50 per day fine assessed per day per unauthorized guest if the maximum occupancy is exceeded.
- Smoking is allowed on the property, but must be done outside. No smoking is allowed inside the house.
- Pets of any kind are not allowed. We also cannot accommodate Emotional Support Animals.
- No tampering with the WIFI or outdoor security cameras.
- Property is on a regular pest maintenance schedule. However, we are in the woods, so it’s possible that one or two might get in on occasion. Guests accept that this is a part of being surrounded by nature and should let us know if they encounter more than the occasional one or two so that the problem can be addressed immediately.
- Early check in or late check out for no extra cost can sometimes be accommodated if time in between bookings allows it to be possible. However, guests must request this and get approval from the host in advance. Late check out without prior approval will result in a $50 per hour overtime fine assessed every 30 minutes.
- Hunting of any kind or riding ATVs on the property is prohibited.
- Booking a stay indicates that you have read and agree to these rules.
